Who we are

Techniti Games is a project of technití noimosýni Development, which publishes free browser games, starting with Quahog Run. You can contact us at technitinoimosynidevelopment@gmail.com.

What the games store on your device

To work, the games save a few things in your browser's local storage: for Quahog Run, the name you type for the leaderboard, a random player ID, your coins, the heroes you own, your selected hero, your best scores, and some counters used for ads and rewards (such as how many games you played). Most of this stays on your device, and clearing your browser data removes it. Only the leaderboard data described below is sent to us.

What we collect

We do not ask you to create an account and we do not collect personal information through the launcher or the games, other than the leaderboard data described below. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and to keep the site running.

Leaderboard

Quahog Run has an online leaderboard. When you finish a run, the game sends our server the name you chose, your score and a random player ID that the game creates in your browser (the server keeps only a scrambled version of that ID). This is how we show one row per player and keep your best score if you start playing under a different name. The leaderboard is public: anyone can see the names and scores in it, so please do not use your real name or any personal information as your player name.

To limit abuse we use your IP address only to count requests per minute. We keep a scrambled code made from it for about an hour, not the address itself. If you want your entry removed, write to us at the address above and tell us the name and score shown.

Fonts

Quahog Run loads its typeface from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google servers to download it. Google may receive your IP address when that happens.

The launcher page itself uses fonts served from this site, so it does not contact Google for them.

Ads

If ads are enabled, they are provided by Google (Google AdSense). Google and its partners may use cookies or similar identifiers to show and measure ads, and, with your consent where the law requires it, to personalize them. You can manage your choices in the consent message shown on the site and learn more at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

Some features, such as “Free coins”, show an ad that you choose to watch in exchange for in-game coins.

Children

Our games are not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where local law sets that age). If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will help.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example in the European Union), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data and to object to its processing. Most of what the games store is in your hands through your browser settings; for your leaderboard entry or anything else, write to us at the address above.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
